Slight modification in X-Mas theme

No, the area below that. Where the board name is written. In X-Mas it is ( and most themes (irrespective of scripts) usually have it like ).

The only difference that I see is that the color gradients are reversed. The top image has gradients from top to bottom and the bottom image gradients from the bottom to the top.

Sorry, I do not exactly get what you mean by " colour gradient ", but a simple look at both images will tell you ( and ) difference I meant. Latter is just a mirror of former in that aspect. May be you are telling the same. I should rephrase it as bulging and dip on the surface where board name is written. If that is what you meant, is it possible to have that look in X-Mas ? Would be great to have that variant.

Yes, that's down to the colour gradient: in X-Mas, the colours run dark to light suggestive of the dip you refer to, in the other image, the colours run light to dark, suggestive of the bulging you refer to.

(It would have been easier had you just provided a before and after screenshot to start with...)

Unfortunately changing it is not particularly easy, because the same gradient is used in a bunch of places, which means it's going to be a change to the template file, a change to the CSS file and creating a new image...

I thought you guys will get it with the very mention of " ( " as this is only theme (which I came across) that differs from regular themes like this.

Is creating a new image time consuming ? Will there be any option to simply reverse the gradient ? (I am not good at Photoshop  ). Does it require coding also ?

Please consider this change as it will be very appealing to many. If it is just change in image and you guys are too busy, please send me the image. I have some friends who are not so bad with Photoshop. I will try to get their help and post the output image here. Thanks.

Please read all of my previous post. Just changing the image is not enough because th same image is used elsewhere so it requires two code changes on top.

As for the change I can't see it being applied to the theme for everyone because it isn't how it was designed.

Well if you just want it reversed then it would be as simple as flipping the windowbg.png image vertically.

It's tied to the windowbg class, so either you fix the base class and every single instance of windowbg2 is altered or you create a new one for the board index.

That was not what I said, please actually read my post! It is doable but it's not as simple as just changing an image. Hopefully someone else will have the patience to explain this as I don't.
