You mean download one updated theme separately without access to the support boards?

Yes, be able to have access to the latest theme with no support.

Not a good idea as i see it. Offering the themes separately would mean i have to create a separate membergroup + subscription for each single theme. Would be a real pain if you have, let's say, 40 themes and offering them for two platforms lol. Besides, some people will still need support and then start asking their questions in any of the public boards.

No, this has been discussed many times but we still feel the current setup is the best for everyone.

Is it possible that you just supply them a one of download link? That is then changed once they have downloaded it?

I don't think it would necessarily encourage piracy but it would have to be done manually as there's no way in SMF to make different subscriptions open to different membergroups.
When you want help, I'm likely to ask you questions. It's not because I'm a stubborn pain in the backside, it's because I need that information to actually be *able* to help you. Sooner you provide it, sooner you get help, simple as that.
