If you want to pitch a bitch then I suggest that you begin with the one who stated that the comment was from the developer.
I did tell you that baracuda was referring to SA Dev as the "site" not the "developer"
baracuda's comment:
"When I asked to SA dev they said"
SA dev is the Support Forum. A member there replied to baracuda's question with the comment that set you off. You assumed it was the developer that made that comment and it was NOT. I did try to clear that up for you earlier in this thread... my quote from that:
The "dev" term probably gets confusing as the site is named SA Mod Development (shortened to SA Mod Dev often) I think baracuda was referring to "dev" as the site, not the developer as the person who replied to him about this at first was not the developer and is an admin on the site.
The developer of the Mod did not disparage Dz's themes in any way; not once. You CAN read that entire thread there and see that for yourself. They have, in fact, helped many to get the mod to work with Dz Themes and the comment that it is a "pain" is correct and not putting Dz Themes down as you seem to have assumed. It is a pain getting many mods to work with some custom themes. I personally do not see it as blame on either the Mod author OR the Theme authors part and your analogy about plaster and paint really does not fit. I have always known with a couple of my own themes that I did for my forum that there may be a Mod that I may have to do some tweaking to get it to work with my themes because of the changes in my themes. And it IS a "pain" to do that for those that do not know php or css. Im not sure why you are not getting that statement and are taking it as a putdown.
This is getting rediculous and really was not a need for it to do so. Alot has been taken out of context and alot assumed. Might be good to go back and rethink, reread and really understand what happened and what is really going on before making accusations.
Im sure I'll get blasted for my opinion as well... whatever
