I am sure one is already in the works.. just takes time to get creative and not to mention the owners/designers also have other things to do

I'm sure we will release another free theme someday but aren't there already more than enough free themes available for SMF lol?  :)

There sure are. Not sure why there is any reason to worry about future free theme releases.

Agreed, focus on the premium themes, there is enough free themes here for those who want them and the support for customisation here is second to none.
