BTW, I find it a bit strange you wanna port themes to other CMS's, but not to other forum scripts, like phpBB for example. How come?

Where did i say that? Of course we will look into other forum options whenever something happens with SMF. That has nothing to do with this CMS question. Porting our themes to a CMS "could" mean we have an additional theme club next to our forum themes but that's far from decided yet. This is just me thinking ahead and going through some options.

Well, you never mentioned it, and now you're thinking ahead, which is always good, but I might missed if you mentioned anything anywhere on making phpBB version of themes.  It would seem more logical next move to make themes for other forum scripts, more logical, than to make it for CMS. But as you mentioned, if you're considering all possibilities, including that one, then you'll covering it all, which is very good.

Just to make something clear, converting our themes to any other forum script is not an option (at least not at this point). SMF is still around and we will just continue doing what we're doing. We only leave an option open for an additional (CMS) club.

Good question Bikken,
myself i like both Joomla, & Drupal ..but between the two I would rather have Joomla..in the past i have converted many, many Rocket Themes to work with TPortal. :)
I have become comfortably numb.

Not bad unless you want to remove all 24 of their footer links.

I like joomla and I work with joomla and I think it would be a good idea, to have the same theme in joomla and smf.
